Project Overview

Project Vidyankur is an educational project by the Vidyoday Muktangan Parivar Foundation, created to transform how children in Shirol Taluka, Kolhapur District learn and grow.

In many local schools, students from Grade 2 to 5 struggle with basic skills in language and mathematics. Teaching methods are often outdated, teachers lack ongoing training, and parents face challenges in supporting their children’s education. Project Vidyankur is here to change that.

Why This Project?

In Shirol Taluka, Kolhapur District, many children face challenges that prevent them from reaching their full potential in school. Students often struggle with basic skills in language and mathematics because:

  • Teaching methods are outdated and don’t keep students engaged

  • Teachers lack ongoing training and resources

  • Parents have limited opportunities to support their children’s education

  • Schools have few extracurricular or enrichment activities
